Skin Academy

The Skin Academy department offers the state-required program for becoming a licensed skin therapist. Classes are held in a state-of-the-art facility that provides a real-life environment, allowing you to perfect your skills in realistic surroundings on real people. Developed in alliance with the International Dermal Institute, the Skin Academy Department's advanced training system focuses on personalized attention. This unique program brings a new depth of understanding and knowledge of classical professional techniques, such as international skin treatments, speed waxing, customized treatment protocols, skin analysis, ingredient technology, makeup techniques, and prescriptive retailing.

Paul Mitchell The School Portland uses Repêchage® skincare and body care treatments and products and make-up exclusively. They are based on select nutrient-rich seaweed plants harvested from the coasts of Brittany in France. The treatments and products are gentle, effective and beneficial for the skin with ingredients which stand the test of time and state of the art formulations that defy it! We also offer Repêchage® at-home care product lines, which complement our Skin Academy treatments. These high quality collections are formulated to meet the skincare needs of each and every age group and every skin type.
